I've reached the bottom of boredom . I don't feel like iconing, I don't feel like writing. And I tried. I really did. I skimmed through pages of LJ. Totally and completely unknowns. I even *gasp* read totally different fics from what I'm used to. I tried some het and slash and I NEVER DID THAT BEFORE. Yep. This is the bottom. The worse part is that nothing worked. Those fics are really not my thing.

On the other hand I'm also happy  . Weird huh? The staff meeting was great and the guys are showing a lot of support. I studied a bit from the books I'll be using, but nothing new there...

The greatest news of the day for me is that I'll be going to my mum's to *ahem* check out the new channel that just arrived at Brazil!!!! SCIFI CHANNEL!!!Woohoo !!!! I'm excited. Reports from the internet says that there is a lot of SG-1 filling the gaps of the grid. It's a new channel, so... And the best part is that they are showing the show from season 1!!! I don't know how they did that, since the SciFi Channel Brazil is brought by FOX Latin America. And Fox only has the rights for season 6 on. But I don't care. I'1l just check out everything, buy a pile of DVDs, teach my mom how to set the DVR and get it all !!! OMG!!! I can't believe I'll finally be able to watch season 2, 3, 4 and 5 after years and years, and years of absence *curses MGM Channel*. Those unrespectful #%$@&*! They simply ignored the fact that there are fans here that want to watch the show and never again put SG-1 back into their grid. They never even showed us S5. Never saw it. NEVER. But now that's old story! I'll see it now. *dances*

Also a friend from college will drop by tomorrow to deliver my nephew's present. *bounces* She's great. I miss her so much!!! I don't know about the others, because, as usual, everyone bailed out without warning. I won't use my phone to seek them out... I'm getting tired of this. They never decide anything...

I'm back! It was a fun long weekend and now every muscle in my body is sore. It may have something to do with the 15 kilograms of dental material that I had to carry all the way to the bus station all by myself. Mmmmm...

Beside that it was really fun. I bought all the stuff with my friend Camila and I got happy that I managed to buy more than originally intended and had the nicest discount of my life. Then we went to a bar, talked and chatted for several hours over a few drinks with the rest of the gang (we didn't go bowling) and I stayed aver at Helen's house. I even slept with one of her cats (they are soooo lovely!!!). We played a few games, had lunch and stayed the whole afternoon by the fireplace eating marshmallows.

Today I spent organizing everything to be ready to open my doors tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! I am probably not going to see anyone tomorrow, but I can wish. I wonder how long it's going to be before I see my first patient on this brand new place. It's not really my first patient, but it's going to be the first that is actually going to pay, since the hundreds of patients from college doesn't count.

I have now lots of catching up to do over the stuff I missed over this weekend.

@!#$%&* to GW!!! Grrr... I'm going to be away during the weekend and the last day of the week for me to play and GW is down!!! @#$%@%#$&* !!!

Okay, I feel a little better. Especially thinking why I'm going to be away. I'll stay at my friend's for the weekend. SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I miss her! I miss them all. I just hope that everyone is able to meet. We have a large group of girlfriends, we are in six so sometimes is hard to get everyone on the same place at the same time. We all live in different parts of the city, and even different parts of the State. We're going to commemorate the birthdays of May, mine included. I forgot to tell Helen to bake me one of her delicious cakes... Damn. I think we'll be going bowling. I'm a little scared, I never tried before and I know at least on of them is addicted to it. She says that she's not good, but she will figure out that she's probably way better than me.

Me and Camila (the friend I'll be staying) will buy the last of our material to start working!!! SQUEEEEEEE!!! I may very well be already working next week!!!

This Sunday my friends from uni came home. All five of them, with corresponding bfs (only now I came to notice that I'm always the one without a pairing...). They were all crazy to eat my mom's Yakisoba, and so was I, she's a great cook! We had such a blast!

We talked a lot (can you imagine six just graduates dentists in the same room?) and the bfs were, as usual, really bored. It's funny, it's like we can't stop talking about work and the cases, patients and all the knowledge exchange (in college we were know as the nerdy group, *g* I wonder why...). Everyone really excited about starting in the big bad world, finding jobs or getting their own office started. Luckily we all have something. Half stating on our own (including me) and the other half working somewhere, at least on one period. The ones starting on their own still haven't started and are just complaining how expensive it is to be a dentist (don't start complaining about the prices we charge, we are just passing them along...). Really, it is absurd. I have debts two years ahead of me, and I have no patients whatsoever... My mother is banking me, of course, and she is supporting me so much in this (thanks mom, I love you!). I'd better not start thinking about how the hell I'm going to pay it all, let alone buy food (you know, I have to eat...).

So we all complained together, remembered old times together, talked gossip together (women...), discussed how amazing our graduation and the graduation ball was, and laughed a LOT.

That made my week. Actually, it made my month! It also made me a bit sad. We are all graduated and everyone is busy and I miss the old uni days when I got to see them everyday for six years, can you imagine that? I miss them so much... We just laugh the entire time and make a whole lot of noise, but now it's so rare. They live far from where I live, each in a different corner, so it's a little hard for us to meet. We plan a lot of things, but as usual nothing gets done *lol*. I can't go because I never have money, the others because, well, don't have money too, and one or the other for actually having a life. I just hope I get to see them soon. I have to go to uni to get the diploma and certificates, so maybe we'll be able to meet again very soon.
